Legato



The term 'Legato', means to play notes smoothly and connected to each other.
To do this, you need to play each note just as you release the previous note.

Notes which are to be played Legato, have a curved line drawn between them. This line can be above, or below the notes, and is also known as a Slur
The video below will demonstrate this more clearly.

First time through, the notes will be played without legato, then repeated with legato.
