G Major


G Major chord

This chord is played, using fingers, 5, 3, and 1, of the left hand.

You may have noticed, that the highest note, in this chord (the note D) is also the highest note in the D7 chord, in EZ Lesson 31.

These two chords, are often used together, so changing from one chord to the other, is made easier, because your left thumb (finger 1) plays the same note (D) in both chords, so stays in the same position, when changing from G major, to D7.

In the video, I will first play the G major chord, then change to the D7 chord, then back to the G major chord.
