The Whole Note
The Whole Note lasts for Four counts and looks like this;

You will notice that it doesn't have a stem like the other notes we have seen so far, so it is easy to recognise
One Whole note equals two Half notes, or four quarter notes
Below, is a mixture of whole notes, half notes and quarter notes for you to play.
Again we are using the same note (G)

Listen carefully to the audio to get used to counting the beats, then try playing the notes yourself.

Once you are familiar with these different kinds of note lengths, and using the five notes we covered earlier ( Middle C, D, E, F and G)
you will know enough to be able to play a few simple tunes!
